Learning, The Learner & Learner Autonomy
A short one-module course that looks at the background to the learner & how to bring out the best in your students in the classroom in order to make learning more efficient & effective.
Among the areas covered:
- a history of the learner
- motivations & developing short & longer-term motivation
- learning styles
- learning strategies & learner training
- learner roles & needs
- learner autonomy
- developing autonomy inside & outside of the classroom
- dealing with groups effectively
- individualisation - catering to the individual within the group
- one-to-one teaching
- learner-based teaching
At the end of the course a certificate is awarded.
The fees
Each course has a three-month limit, from beginning to end. There are no time limits set on the completion of each module within the three months.
On receipt of payment of the fees, a password is sent, giving access to the course. The fees are payable though PayPal, a very secure online payment system. An account can be created to make payment or a simple credit card payment can be made.
