Teaching, The Teacher & Teacher Development
This short one-module course is designed to help teachers examine their beliefs about teaching & learning & their roles inside & outside the classroom, as well as providing practical ideas to make the job more enjoyable, manageable & efficient.
Among the areas covered:
- the history of ELT
- mangaging - the classroom, the learners, the teacher
- roles of the teacher
- teacher talk
- syllabus design
- timetabling & lesson preparation
- developing as a teacher - ways & means
- outside ELT - an eclectic approach
At the end of the course a certificate is awarded.
Each course has a three-month limit, from beginning to end. There are no time limits set on the completion of each module within the three months.
On receipt of payment of the fees, a password is sent, giving access to the course. The fees are payable though PayPal, a very secure online payment system. An account can be created to make payment or a simple credit card payment can be made.
